Round 1  Frank has new haircut and tattoos…lets see if it will help.  Serra comes out to Rocky theme music…. drama building. both bump fists… circling.  stalking… Serra looks the aggressor.  Trigg lands jabs.  Body blows by serrs, more jabs returned by Trigg.  More combos by both fighters… still in the feeling out mode.  Trigg nailed by upper cut from out of nowhere!!  Small ground and pound exchange and Trigg is out!!!!  Trigg utters the famous… “what happened?”

Demian Maia vs. Dan Miller
Round 1 Touch gloves!  Feeling each other out as they circle the ring… Miller circling with Maia in the middle of the ring.  Small exchange.  Maia gets a single leg, but is denied the takedown.  maia with head kick but Miller is unphased.  Miller responds with inside leg kick.  Maia with a kick to a double leg takedown… and Miller gets up! Maia knees Miller in the groin!

Maia forces Miller to ground, but Miller gets back up.  Round ends uneventfully.

Round 2  Good body kick by Miai as action begins.  Both fighters are cautious.  Maia lands strong left.  Miller responds with inside leg kick.  Exchanges are mostly loose…. round ends to boos from the crowd.

Round 3  Swings and misses by both fighters.  Miller lands a couple and almost takes Miai down, Maia turns and takes Miller down.  Miller up!  Both fighters sprawling, ends with Maia in dominant top against cage.  Maia still on top but with bloody eye.  Fight goes the distance.

Mike Swick vs. Paulo Thiago
Round 1 Swick misses with leg kick… Thiago tight in middle of ring.  Swick circling.  Thiago gets head kick, swick shrugs it off.  Thiago lays some hands on Swick’s head.  Swick lands leg kick.  Thiago with leg kick… Swick runs back but finds no opening.  Tense moment as they stand right in front of each other with nothing happening.  Thiago is landing more hands than Swick.  Swick with the takedown!

Round 2  Swick comes out a little lighter and swifter on his feet.  Thiago with strong body kick.  Strong overhand by Swick… misses.  Flurries thrown by both… Swick rocked!  Swick falls to mat… Thiago applies choke and renders Swick unconscious!

Nate Marquardt vs. Chael Sonnen
Round 1  Stare down over…. back to their corners.  Both fighters exchanging hard!  lots of kicks and punches in first 30 seconds.  Chael locked in guillotine… escapes!  Chael beginning to drop blows.    Strong jumping knee by Marquardt…  Chael takes top.  Chael drops good elbows.  Chael taking control of entire fight.  marquardt looks winded.

Round 2 Chael takes down Marquardt with double leg takedown.  Chael still dropping blows!  Marquardt tries ude garami (kimura)… stalled on attempt.  Chael lands good blows!!  Chael cleaning Marquardts clock.  Marquardt gets leg bar… Chael escapes.  Blood everywhere… Chael bleeding heavy, but still dominating.  Awesome round!!!

Round 3  third round begins with them swinging at each other, Chael takes down Marquardt and gains top control.  Both fighters sprawl around, but Chael keeps getting top control and continues to drop blows.  Marquardt defending about 50% of strikes.  Marquardt looks fatigued.  Marquardt gets to feet… Chael drops him and falls into guillotine!  Chael red… getting choked!   Escapes!  Chael back on top!  Marquardt gains top control for first time of night.  Marquardt lands two strong blows in last 10 seconds… goes to the ref’s.

Awesome fight!  Chael takes the match!!!

Randy Couture vs. Mark Coleman
Round 1 Both fighters making light exchanges, with Randy landing the majority.  Randy lands knees and blows, catching Coleman at will.  Randy is landing at will.  Clinch… Randy continues to land dirty boxing strikes, knees, and straight punches whenever he feels like it.  it almost feels as if Randy is letting the bout continue so as not to embarrass Coleman.

Round 2  Coleman lands a couple jab, Randy takes him down and takes mount!  randy takes back!  Rear choke is applied!  Coleman nearly out cold…. ref stops match!

Round 3
